Inside Week 12

Choice, dignity, and the end of life

Other Side follows Connecticut activist Lynda Bluestein during the final year of her life as she confronts terminal illness, family, and the limits of end-of-life law. When medical aid in dying was not available to her in Connecticut, Lynda challenged Vermont’s residency restriction in court, seeking access to the state’s law as an out-of-state resident. The film follows Lynda and her family through the emotional, legal, medical, and deeply personal realities of that journey.

Why this story, this week

This is a story about choice, not death. Other Side brings one family’s experience into a thoughtful conversation about dignity, care, law, and personal autonomy.

The film remains the emotional center: watch, understand, reflect, explore resources, then support.
